Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. habil. Jacob Emmanuel Mabe, né le 26 mai 1959, est penseur universel. Après secondaires au Cameroun, il poursuit ses études en Allemagne, avant d'obtenir deux doctorats en sciences politiques (1992) à Augsbourg et en philosophie (1995) à Munich. Depuis sa thèse postdoctorale de qualification pour l'enseignement universitaire (habilitation) en 2004, il enseigne la philosophie dans plusieurs universités et vit comme publiciste à Berlin. Il est ancien Président de la Société Allemande de Philosophie de Langue Française et président-fondateur de Société Anton-Wilhelm-Amo aussi bien qu'éditeur et co-auteur de la première encyclopédie africaine en langue allemande (2001 et 2004).
Book description
Cameroon is often considered a model country for political stability and continuity in Africa. However, it also faces many challenging cultural, economic, political, and social problems. This volume reflects the personal opinion of an intellectual. It suggests some changes, including a new federal constitution that would allow for the division of Cameroon into 12 regional states, and encourages not giving in to pessimism in the current crisis situation but looking toward the future with confidence.

About the Author
Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. habil. Jacob Emmanuel Mabe, born on May 26, 1959, is a universal thinker. After completing his secondary education in Cameroon, he continued his studies in Germany, earning two doctorates in political science (1992) from Augsburg and philosophy (1995) from Munich. Since his postdoctoral qualification for university teaching (habilitation) in 2004, he has been teaching philosophy at several universities and working as a publicist in Berlin. He is a former President of the German Society of French-Language Philosophy and the founding president of the Anton-Wilhelm-Amo Society. He is also an editor and co-author of the first African encyclopedia in the German language (2001 and 2004).

Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. habil. Jacob Emmanuel Mabe, geboren am 26. Mai 1959, ist ein universeller Denker. Nach dem Abschluss seiner Sekundarschulbildung in Kamerun setzte er seine Studien in Deutschland fort und erlangte zwei Doktortitel, einen in Politikwissenschaften (1992) von Augsburg und einen in Philosophie (1995) von München. Seit seiner postdoktoralen Qualifikation für die universitäre Lehre (Habilitation) im Jahr 2004 unterrichtet er Philosophie an verschiedenen Universitäten und lebt als Publizist in Berlin. Er ist der ehemalige Präsident der Deutschen Gesellschaft für französischsprachige Philosophie und der Gründungspräsident der Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Gesellschaft. Zudem ist er Herausgeber und Mitautor der ersten afrikanischen Enzyklopädie in deutscher Sprache (2001 und 2004).
